2020 fun things

    I liked camp because of the walks we had. I did wall climbing and it was fun. I liked dancing this year with my class. I was so nervous. the jackets were cool.

  We danced on the stage to Juice by Lizzo. We wore jackets. My jacket was sliver while other people wore red jackets. Other schools were also dancing on stage. We were last on stage to dance. Our teachers were watching us when we were dancing. I felt happy when I was dancing. 

My Tapa Turtle

This is my tapa art turtle.  First I found a picture of a turtle.  Miss Waho and Amy helped me to draw the turtle.  Amy did all of my vivid work for me. I used yellow and brown dye to colour it. 

I liked doing the tapa art.  I did lots of the work.  I learned that tapa is made from a tree.

A Gold Medal

It was a great day for Connor today.  He has been using StepsWeb and has his own word list.  Today he worked so hard that he got a gold medal.  He pointed out that he made 0 mistakes.

Steps Medal

We had a very exciting time in Whakamanawa today as Connor used StepsWeb, mostly on his own.  He even got a bronze medal.  Awesome work Connor!

Writing My Name

Each day when working with Mrs Duthis, Connor writes his name using the blackboard and other writing tools.  This one that he did on Friday, was his best so far.  He formed all of his letters clearly and made his name easy to read.  Great job Connor!
