I Am Yawning

I Am

Connor is so good at reading this book.  In reading, he had to find the words from a group of word cards to match the words in his book.  I am yawning was his favourite page.  When we took a photo we decided that he could read it, find it then show it.
Here is Connor with his book, his word cards and his yawning!

Connor is great using this book so next time we will get a more challenging book to read.

Alphabet Puzzle

Amazing Alphabet

Connor and Izyah worked together to match the letter from the alphabet to the picture on the puzzle.  While we were doing this we were trying to think of other places where we have seen the letters.
Next time we are going to work on writing the letters.

Amazing All Steps

Steps So Far

Connor is always keen to see how much time he has had on Steps each day and each week.  He likes to see how many medals or coins he has earned.  Today Miss Waho had a look to see how Connor has been going since he started using Steps Web.  Connor hasn't seen this yet so will get a big surprise when he sees this.
Check it out:

Connor, what do you think of the number of medals you have earned?

Alphabet Buddies

Creating the Alphabet

In Literacy, we did an activity together with Connor and Izyah.  They had to match the puzzle pieces that showed the lower case and the upper case letters of the alphabet.  The boys had to make sure the picture that joined the puzzle pieces matched.
By the end of the activity, all of the letters had been matched with the right picture and there were two proud boys.

Next time we will see how fast we can do it.
